The other day was one of those beautiful summer days ~ 70s, gentle breeze, with a couple of clouds decorating the sky. So, I decided to take a walk around the pond to see what I could find. Of course, the more I paused the more I saw. I tried my best to take a picture of what I came across, but many of the critters were faster than my shutter.
I did happen upon some critters mating. They gave me a chance to focus.
The frogs could hear me coming, so I missed most of them except this fellow who seemed to be having a staring contest with a tadpole.
The pollinators loved the Boneset. Look at the full pollen sacs on the bees.
The Orb spiders were very busy on the land ~ I saw two.I can’t believe the Dragonfly posed for this picture. So many others didn’t have the patience for me to focus.
Days like this one always remind that I need to pause so that I can really see the world around me.
