Over the years Mike has published numerous newsletters focused on the various aspects of orchard management. These have ranged from pruning and integrated pest management to fertility and harvest. As well, there have been a number of general “opinion-focused” newsletters on the state of agriculture and fruit production. Mike currently publishes a newsletter on Substack under the title Radical Pomology!
 
While Radical Pomology! focuses on specific in-season management practices, such as pest management, its foundation is based on a philosophy of developing resilient orchard ecosystems to reduce the amount of management investment by the grower and increase the amount of pomological enjoyment.
